So, how did Wahid get to where he is today? It all started from humble beginnings. From voluntary community work, estate agent, bar work, car sales, Wahid went on to excel in several key financial institutions, including Lloyds Banking Group, BNY Mellon, Cofunds, IFDS and Barclays.
It’s this that has provided a depth of financial experience and expertise, covering income, ISAs, pensions, borrowing and lending, and all the relevant legal know-how. On top of that, there’s an abundance of real estate knowledge. Wahid spent many of his days sourcing real estate deals in London and Essex, before eventually moving to work in diamonds.

Wahid worked on commission for two years for a global diamond dealer in the London Diamond Bourse, before realising the huge potential in the diamond sector. Sure, becoming one of the main players at a wealthy London diamond dealership was good – but he had a vision of something much bigger.
